Miss Cunene, Marcelina Vahekeni, was crowned Forget Angola 2011-2012 during a contest that took position Dec 3rd at the Belas Meeting Hub in Luanda, with the use of the nation's Chief executive Jose Eduardo dos Santos, and the first woman, Ana Paula dos Santos.
Marcelina, a 23-year old student of Individual Sources Growth, was crowned by ruling Forget Galaxy Leila Lopes. She appears 1.80 m high and will signify Angola during the Forget Galaxy 2012 contest to be organised in August/September.
The 1st runner-up was Manuela Agostinho, from Luanda, and the 2nd runner-up was Izilda Silva, from Luanda Sul. Forget Uige, Teresa Culembo, won Forget Photogenic; and Forget African-american de Sul, Belcky Simoes, won the Forget Relationship Prize.
Edmilza Santos (20, 1.73m, Malanje), first runner-up of Forget Angola 2011, will signify Angola in Forget Community 2012 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia next Sept. She was expected to contend in Forget Community 2011 but withdrew because of charge issues. The coordinators of the Forget Angola contest will release the Forget Angola Mundo contest next Sept and the victorious one will contend in Forget Community 2013.
A candidata da província do Cunene, Marcelina Vahekeni, foi eleita, sábado, miss Angola/2012, durante a event que teve destino no Centro de Conferências de Belas.
Vahekeny substitui, deste forma, Leila Lopes, miss Angola e Universo2011, de quem recebeu a coroa.
Vinte e quatro candidatas “lutaram” pela coroa de Forget Angola 2012, entre as quais seis são residentes na diáspora, Italy, África do Sul, Namíbia, Canadá, Reino Unido e Benelux.
A event foi prestigiada pela presença do Presidente da República, José Eduardo dos Santos, acompanhado da primeira-dama, Ana Paula dos Santos.
Marcelina Vahekeni, estudante do curso de gestão de recursos humanos, vai representar o país no concurso de miss Universo 2012.
